Today, in our ongoing “Truth from Arkansas” series, we’re featuring two new sermons from the brethren down under.
First, we have Pastor Roger Copeland of Northern Hills Baptist Church in Texarkana, preaching from Romans 11:33-36 on “The Imponderables of God.”
Next, we have Pastor Cody Andrews of Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Star City preaching from Romans 9:30-33 on “Nothing More Than Faith.”
Both of these sermons were delivered on Sunday, November 13th.

Pastor Copeland preached a great message; interesting how he point out unbelieving Jews did not Want the Gospel but didn’t want Gentiles to have it either. Love his point about how the Gospel is about Reconciliation with God and it must be understood in a God-centered way. Always grateful for Hearing Gospel appeal

Thanks for listening! The Gospel is imponderable, so simple yet so deep. The point about the Jews not wanting the Gospel and also denying it to Gentiles reminds me of the RCC hierarchy, their zealous opposition to the Reformation and withholding God’s Word from the common people for centuries.

So cal weather has been cold but not as cold as elsewhere! Been in the 50s which is cold for us Californians and for me who like wearing shorts in December and sandals lol

Sometimes I wonder how many Evangelical apologists are more driven by philosophy than Scripture and the Gospel

Yup, a very sad state of affairs. BTW, I received an email reply from Patrick C2TC stating he and Tony had at one time considered reviewing one of Mike Gendron’s two books, but would be willing to consider De Chirico’s “Same Words, Different Worlds: Do Roman Catholics and Evangelicals Believe the Same Gospel?” as a possibility after he takes a look at it.
