Truth from Arkansas! Sunday Sermon Series, #154

Today, in our ongoing “Truth from Arkansas” series, we’re featuring two new sermons from the brethren down under.

First, we have Pastor Roger Copeland of Northern Hills Baptist Church in Texarkana preaching from Romans 8:1-17 on “The Spirit Led Life.”

Next, we have Pastor Cody Andrews of Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Star City preaching from Romans 6:16-23 on “What Will You Serve?”

Both of these sermons were delivered on Sunday, September 4th.

  1. I appreciate His focus on the Spirit’s work; and even how we don’t need a retreat or conference per se to experience the POwer of God; of course God uses conferences and retreats but God’s power is greater and can be manifested in other ways. THis is sanctifying message from Pastor Copeland.

      1. CPAP machines pump air so a person with restricted breathing while sleeping (sleep apnea) gets enough air. I used to have a CPAP machine many years ago but it wore out. This new machine is half the size but with a lot more features. People who snore generally have sleep apnea.

      2. Thanks, brother! The health benefits are highly touted, but head harness and the air being forced up the nostrils all night long takes some getting used to.

      3. I just googled it and research shows only around 30% of those who are prescribed CPAP stick with it. The initial “break-in” experience is a real bear. The old machines were much bigger and noisier. My wife sometimes got up during the night and slept in the second bedroom.
