Truth from Arkansas! Sunday Sermon Series, #151

Today, in our ongoing “Truth from Arkansas” series, we’re featuring two new sermons from the brethren down under.

First, we have Pastor Roger Copeland of Northern Hills Baptist Church in Texarkana preaching from Romans 6:16-23 on “Whose Slave Are You?”

Next, we have James Patterson, pastor emeritus of Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Star City preaching from Ezekiel 14:12-18 on “A message of judgement.”

Both of these sermons were delivered on Sunday, August 14th.

Pastor Roger Copeland – Whose Slave Are You?

Pastor James Patterson – A message of judgement – Sermon starts at 44:10 mark

  1. Grateful once we are justified we are always justified. Glad pastor Copeland began with that truth for his romans 6 sermon.
I like how he said we are all born sinners but we dont have to die sinners. Justification by faith is so precious

    1. Thanks for listening! It seems to me that within those evangelical traditions/movements that teach a person can lose their salvation, salvation necessarily becomes merit-based.

      1. That is true once anyone goes that path of believing you can lose salvation then one sneak in merit base salvation. I know as a young Christian I start struggling with that. So grateful that the New Testament helped me to understand Salvation more and more
