Truth from Arkansas! Sunday Sermon Series, #105

Today, in our ongoing “Truth from Arkansas” series, we’re featuring a new sermon from one of the brethren down under.

We have Pastor Roger Copeland of Northern Hills Baptist Church in Texarkana, preaching from Luke 14:1-6 on “When the Ox is in the Ditch.” This sermon was delivered on Sunday, September 26th.

      1. Wow gotcha. Responding to your comment on my blog: I did hear news about the new Superman with the agenda they are shoving down the throats of readers. I like Batman but if they shove that theme in the new issues I”m going to read only old batman comics…

      2. Its amazing how far these things have been subtly introduced. As I read more of the thesis on the Evangelical Left I was struck at how early some of the L*b* stuff has snuck into Evangelicalism as well

      3. It’s evident RHE didn’t comprehend the genuine Gospel despite her upbringing in evangelicalism. I have my doubts about other liberal social gospel “evangelicals” like Jim Wallis. Wallis co-wrote a book about RC-ism that I’ll get to one of these days.

  2. Wow a good sermon! REally good about how he mentioned the importance of loving people. It is encouraging. This is an awesome sermon. I laugh when he talked about a church he visited that gave awards for not missing Sunday school. That is hard for me to picture in Southern California lol.
But good message even his point sometimes we might have to miss church in doing good

    1. Thanks! Glad it worked out because the streamlined connectors are key in being able to conceal the cables. My wife’s been after me to conceal the unsightly cables for a couple of years, but I didn’t have a plan until I searched Amazon and found the much smaller connectors.
