Today, in our ongoing “Truth from Arkansas” series, we’re featuring two new sermons from the brethren down under.
First, we have Pastor Roger Copeland of Northern Hills Baptist Church in Texarkana, preaching from Luke 13:10-17 on “Love Not Legalism.”
Next, we have Pastor Cody Andrews of Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Star City preaching from Luke 2:40-49 on “Priorities.”
Both of these sermons were delivered on Sunday, September 5th.
Pastor Roger Copeland – Love, Not Legalism
Pastor Cody Andrews – Priorities
Will listen to this later today while doing sermon prep. Answering your question: Today will be sermon prep day! WEll for the Bible study tonight. I’m also reading an apologetics book today too. Hope the paralegal thing works out smoothly today!

I’m sure the Bible study was a blessing to all.
Thanks, the paralegal visit was only 30 minutes. She called later to say the closing will be next Tuesday.

Good point about how legalists are always trying to control others.
Jesus exposes the legalist caring more about animals than a human being; sometimes legalists today can be like that too! Loved his ending pastoral prayer

Coming from a fundamentalist foundation and being a “doctrine/truth” guy, I can easily drift into legalism, so I have to be wary of that. I had to replay the end since it’s been a couple of weeks since I listened. Yes, excellent exhortation!
