Truth from Arkansas! Sunday Sermon Series, #83

It’s Two-fer-Tuesday, my friends, which means two new sermons from the brethren down in Arkansas.

First, we have Pastor Roger Copeland of Northern Hills Baptist Church in Texarkana, preaching from Luke 9:10-17 on “The Jesus Who Provides.”

Next, we have Pastor Cody Andrews of Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Star City, preaching from John 16:5-11 on “The Ministry of the Holy Spirit.”

Both of these sermons were delivered on Sunday, April 25th.

    1. Thanks, Mandy. I completely cleaned out her living room yesterday for it to be the “staging area” for the furniture and boxes being moved. Don’t want the estimator who is coming this afternoon to have to go anywhere else in the house.

Thanks so much for your sweet card to Corinne! She was touched and very much appreciated it. She gets a bit down at times with her ongoing maladies, and your card was a balm.

      1. Thanks, Mandy. I’m heading over there in a few hours to open the windows again and move the boxes into the showcase “staging” room. I’ll let you know how the appointment with the mover goes. Love and blessings to you and Nathan!

    1. Hope you had a good evening! I spent yesterday afternoon cleaning out my sister’s living room as a “staging area” for the furniture and boxes being moved. The estimator is coming today and I don’t want him to have to go anywhere else in the house.

      1. Yup, I’ll be going back in a couple of hours for final prep before the estimator comes. Wow! You’re up early! Hope you have a good day!

  1. Good point that Not one of them disciples said about a word of Jesus in their problem solving, and putting Jesus secondary.
Love this: Little is much with God.
Love how Jesus had them all filled, the provision of Jesus will filled as he points out.
Love him pointing to the provisions of Christ for salvation!

    1. Thanks, brother! Yup, Jesus is the Provider. The apostles not considering Jesus solving the problem of feeding the 5000 mirrors my own inclination to confront my problems on my own and not going to Jesus first.
