It’s Two-fer-Tuesday, my friends, which means two new sermons from the brethren down in Arkansas.
First, we have Pastor Roger Copeland of Northern Hills Baptist Church in Texarkana, preaching from Numbers 21:4-9 on “Look and Live.”
Next, we have Wayne Sewell substituting for Pastor Cody Andrews of Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Star City preaching from Ruth 1:6 on “Homecoming.”
Both of these sermons were delivered on Sunday, September 13th.
Pastor Roger Copeland – Look and Live
Brother Wayne Sewell – Homecoming
Stopping by with a hi! Wow I noticed one of the sermons is from Numbers 21! Love Old TEstament sermons!

Hi my friend! I really love the Jesus typology in Numbers 21 of the bronze serpent being lifted up.

Did you hear about this news story? I’m thinking of your weekly round up https://www.persecution.org/2020/09/29/pope-francis-not-receive-hong-kongs-emeritus-bishop/?utm_campaign=coschedule&utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=persecutionnews

Thanks for the heads up! Cardinal Zen has been a vocal critic of Francis’s pragmatic betrayal of Chinese Catholics.

I’m no Catholic at all, you know that…but seeing the Pope like this with his followers also makes me kind of mad. Sometimes leaders needs to have some internal fortitude to speak out of evil…but then I remember Rome has serious serious serious problems doctrinally and morally

I follow you on this. Theology aside (impossible to do), it’s still repugnant to see a person in a leadership position pragmatically betray his followers. In a temporal sense, I admired JPII for standing up to the Soviets, but of course, the theology he propagated was spiritually deadly.

Good thanks! Drove my wife to a routine MD appt. and got a lot of reading done in the parking lot. Then scraped the storm windows I painted yesterday.
How’s your day going?

Was blessed hearing this tonight, the sermon and how it points to the Gospel. Better way to spend my evening it seems than with the Presidential debate lol
