A few weeks ago, I mentioned to my wife that I needed to pick up a daily pill dispenser like the one she had. At my age, it’s becoming more difficult to remember if I took a certain pill or not. My wife surprised me by presenting me with the dispenser above.
Yes! Now that I have daily pill dispenser, I can officially join the ranks of senior citizens!
“The righteous flourish like the palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. They are planted in the house of the Lord; they flourish in the courts of our God. They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green.” – Psalm 92:12-14
I have one and it is a blessing. It also helps me remember what day it is. 🙂

Thanks, Michael! Yeah, I really appreciate my little pill dispenser. But I take my meds in the evening, so it doesn’t help me as far as keeping the days straight. 😦

I embrace getting older because there was that time (or2/3) I tried to end it BUT WHEN I CALLED OUT TO HIM… HALLELUJAH!!!
I’m 52 (53 in July) only on 1 medicine for thyroid so far! Even that one I can forget if I took it or not 😂😂

That’s a great testimony, Beth! Even though my aches and pains increase with every passing year, it’s a blessing to open my eyes each morning. The aches are also a blessing because they remind me that my frail “tent” is only temporary and better things await. I’m on a statin like many people these days along with two vitamins and a baby aspirin, all recommended by the doctor. So not a lot of scrips yet and I’m trying to keep them to a minimum, but that’s a future post. 🙂

Amen! Me too…(but I’ll be 54 in December). No meds yet…but use one to remember to take a vitamin and some supplements (when I’m actually doing that). Usually I skip them all…but it is a good reminder! Guess I still qualify for the “middle aged”! Lol!

54? You’re just a kid still! 🙂 I used to “forget” to take my statin all the time, but the pill dispenser on the counter serves as a good reminder.

I turned 66 a few days ago and I don’t feel a day over 25. Except when I go to get up out of my chair. 😊
I have had a pill dispense since I was in my forties. But I only take one prescription, for my thyroid. Everything else is a health supplement. Which I give a lot of the credit for looking and feeling so young. Plus I exercise every day, several 60 second planks and at least two miles on my bike. I drink lots of filtered water from a glass bottle and my diet is healthy.
Most of all, the joy of the Lord is my strength! And when it’s time to fly away — YAAAAAAY!

Thanks. Yup, regular exercise and a good diet do a lot towards warding off the scrips. My yearly physical came due last week, so I was cramming for the test the entire months of March and April and lost about fifteen pounds with diet and exercise. The doc gave me a gold star, but I’m going to keep up the pace and lose another fifteen. Yes, with all the circumstances in this life, the Lord is always our Rock and focus.

I dispense from the bottle as I don’t see well and some pills are the same color or size.:)

I am blessed to need nothing but Tylenol now and then and Benadryl to sleep

Yeah, but you’re still a young guy! Yup, best to keep those scrips to a minimum if possible.

You’ve definitely got a few decades to go yet. But when you get to your 60s, the pill dispenser is a sure-fire litmus test.

Right on! Jesus is our righteousness and soon we will be with Him.
I have been saying for the past couple decades, “Each day I am on the earth is one day closer to heaven.”
Maranatha!
