Happy Thanksgiving!

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my friends here on the WordPress blogosphere! May your time with family and friends be happy as we contemplate all of our blessings through Christ Jesus! I’m especially grateful that my wife came home from the hospital yesterday and her broken leg is on the mend.

    1. Thanks, Crissy! Yes, it was a special day. Our oldest son and his family came over for dessert. My wife was very moved. We had devotions time after everyone left and she was unable to read the verses from Psalms, too overwhelmed. Hey, I was wondering about Thanksgiving in Australia and I see you guys celebrate in May.

      1. Tom really? Thanksgiving is not a national holiday here, I have never heard or seen anyone celebrate it. Shops don’t advertise it like for Halloween or Pride Day . I would be interested to know what you found out.
Many blessings to you and your lady. The Lord is sooo good.

      2. Crissy, thanks for the blessing wishes and I ask for blessings for you! Yes, the Lord is so good!
Your comment about no Thanksgiving in Australia had me scrambling. I’m overtired from our recent non-routine. I was able to trace my way back to the article below, which does hint that the observance isn’t celebrated as in the States. Sorry, I don’t mean to tell an Australian what holidays are celebrated in your own country.

      3. Thank you Tom for the link.
Please no need to be sorry. It would be awesome if we had a Thanksgiving Day. Have a Blessed Lord’s Day.
