What’s stopping you from accepting Jesus Christ and leaving Catholicism?

Catholic friend, come out of Roman Catholicism, repent of your sin and accept Jesus Christ as your Savior by faith alone, and then ask the Lord to lead you to an evangelical church in your area that preaches God’s Word without compromise.

Is Catholicism a true or false religion?

    1. bwcarey, Some see Jesus as a great teacher like Gandhi. He wasn’t. He was God the Son who paid the penalty for sin. He offers forgiveness of sins and eternal life to all those receive Him as Savior by faith alone.

  1. Amen! John 14:6 Jesus says: “I am the way the truth and the life- no one comes to the Father but by me.”

      1. As I’ve listened to Catholic talk radio the past couple of weeks, many people have called in about the scandal and the apologists respond, along the lines of, “Oh yes, it’s tragic, but the California school system has a worse problem with child abuse than the Catholic church so…next topic?” Sophistry and lies.

      2. Thanks, Jimmy! Yes, I pray the Holy Spirit uses this calamity in a great way. I was listening to Catholic talk radio as I was driving my car today and one of the hosts was saying, “If it’s found that the pope did play a role in covering up cardinal McCarrick’s abuse , he should resign,” so they’re preparing the Catholic audience for that possible eventuality. The great irony is everyone knows John Paul II covered up for pedophile prelates yet he was declared a saint!

      3. I listen to about one hour of Catholic talk radio every day and I’ve yet to hear a victim call in to a show. I imagine many/most of them have turned their back on the church and want no involvement with it.

      4. Yes, a victim calling in or better yet one of the lawyers who are representing groups of victims. There’s one such lawyer here in Rochester and he’s been very bold and forthright in front of the television cameras. No deference to the church. The Catholic apologists never mention the church’s mandatory clerical celibacy in connection with the abuse, but that was obviously a huge factor in attracting and fostering deviants. They could never admit to that.
