For several decades, evangelical apologist, James R. White, has done an outstanding job comparing Roman Catholicism with Biblical Christianity. I recently became aware that three of White’s earliest books on Catholicism, all currently out of print and with used copies selling at exorbitant prices, are now available as downloadable Kindle ebooks at Amazon. The best part is the price is only $0.99 per volume.
The three books were all originally published by Crowne Publications, which folded in 1993:
The Fatal Flaw: Do the Teachings of Roman Catholicism Deny the Gospel?
1990, 225 pages
Answers to Catholic Claims: A Discussion of Biblical Authority
1990, 164 pages
Justification by Faith
1990, 56 pages
I haven’t read the books myself but I look forward to reading and reviewing them down the road.
Other books by White available through Amazon (although at a higher price) include The Roman Catholic Controversy (1996), and Mary-Another Redeemer? (1998).
